I am experienced in reviewing raw medical records received by Qualified Medical Examiners offering expert opinions on workman's compensation cases. I understand firsthand that QME opinions require far more than a surface-level summary of records. While AI tools can be helpful for organizing documents, generating timelines, and summarizing content, QME work ultimately depends on careful human analysis: evaluating causation and apportionment, reconciling conflicting medical opinions, applying jurisdiction-specific workers’ compensation standards, and clearly articulating defensible reasoning. These judgment-heavy tasks still benefit greatly from experienced human insight.
My work focuses on analytical record reviews rather than clerical summaries.
I aim to serve as an analytical partner—someone who helps frame and clarify the issues most relevant to your opinion. I ground each review in the examiner’s statutory responsibilities, including causation, apportionment, credibility and consistency across sources, DSM-supported findings, functional impairment, and MMI and treatment necessity. In particular, I add value in areas where AI falls short: identifying DSM-relevant data, tracking inconsistencies, and providing meaningful context without editorializing.
On a more personal note, I am also a proud mom of three navigating the sheer chaos (otherwise known as family life) with my husband Sean. It is in this space I discovered that continuing to do work I find both intellectually engaging and genuinely useful is a necessity. That perspective also shapes how I run my business—I strive to keep my services accessible and affordable, while delivering the level of care and rigor that QME work demands.
